Gumersindo Lafuente is a jorunalist that started his career in the Spanish newspaper Ya and worked for different media as El País and El Mundo. In 2000 changed from paper to the Internet and was the director for 6 years of elmundo.es, that became the world leader for news in Spanish over the Internet. Now he is the director of a new project of digital media, Soitu.es. Recently he received the VII Prize for DIgital Journalism José Manuel Porquet and the jury highlighted “his personal career as tradtional journalist transformed in digital journalist”.
